The cosmological reconstruction of Confucianism. Incorporating Buddhist and Daoist metaphysics, thinkers established "Principle" (Li) as the supreme ontology. Zhu Xi led the objective study of things, while Lu Jiuyuan declared the Mind is the Universe.
